I was so excited when my friend, Rachelle (a.k.a. Magpie Girl), purchased a photo session for her parents as a gift. On one of the most beautiful days of the year, I met Penny and John at one of the most beautiful places in Seattle. (It also happened to be Penny’s birthday!)
Penny and John have been married 45 years and are so full of love. Their eyes lit up when I asked them how they met and as they recounted all of the travel adventures they’ve shared together. At one point, John stopped and said, “Don’t I have the prettiest wife?”
Yes, you do, John. Yes, you do!
As I round the corner on my 2nd wedding anniversary, I can only hope my husband and I have the kind of love John and Penny share 40 years from now! Aren’t they adorable?
