Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting my friends, Chelsea and David, at the hospital just one day after welcoming their baby girl, Everly, into the world. Don’t you just love that name? Oh, and wait until you see the sweet face that goes with such a sweet name.
Chelsea and I met last year after an exchange of tweets on Twitter. We commiserated over working from home and got together in coffee shops around Seattle to work together. I’m delighted to say that our Twitter connection turned into a true friendship. The internet is amazing, isn’t it?
In recent months, Chelsea and I have bonded over being pregnant (and hungry and tired) and went to many prenatal yoga classes together. It’s been such a pleasure getting to know her and I can’t wait for our little girls to play together in a couple of months. Everly will have to teach my little one the ropes!
Here’s a little sneak peek of my afternoon with this beautiful new family. Everly is in for a treat with these fantastic parents! And obviously, they’re in for a treat with this sweet bundle of cuteness!
