ashley + matt {engaged}

horizon loans amite la As many of you may know, my husband is a musician. A trumpet player to be exact. He mostly plays jazz, but every once in a while, he is asked to do something a little different. And when I say “different”, think hiphop. Yup, for the past year, Jason has had a blast playing with a jazz-inspired hiphop musician. Matt a.k.a. Spekulation has gathered a talented group of musicians to create an amazing sound and energized live performances.

He had recently gotten engaged to Ashley and they wanted to know if I would like to photograph their engagement party. I happen to know that Ashley reads my blog and I always love meeting my readers in person! I didn’t have to think twice. This was totally up my alley!
