I'm Darrah and I am a photographer. I am on a mission to find the beauty in everyday life and I want to take you with me. I bring to my photography a collection of experiences that allows me to find what's magical and unique about you. My theater experience trained me to always look for a story, a connection, a captivating moment that passes in an instant. The visual artist in me is always looking for interesting angles and noticing color and light. Nothing excites me more than capturing real moments -- when someone breaks into laughter, when two best friends give each other a knowing glance, when the sun hits someone's face at the most beautiful angle, when a baby yawns, when a child giggles, when a musician is transported by the music. Oh, I can go on and on!

But if you really want to know – I am a latte drinking, often giggling, Seattle lovin’ and livin’, creative path exploring, mac ‘n’ cheese eating, husband hugging, camera toting gal with a dream. That’s me.

I specialize in “Slice of Life” photography. I am passionate about finding what makes you unique. Life moves so fast. I will help you capture those moments that define who you are.

My ability to connect and to listen will put you at ease and allow us to create beautiful images together. I approach life “in the moment” and this transfers to my photography, enabling me to meet you with an open heart, open eyes, and a ready camera. Together, we will find the beauty in your life, discover the subtle details in your world, and capture the moment as you remember it. And hopefully, we’ll laugh a lot in the process!
